I have a new found interest in the Six Series DA revolvers. Wouldn't mind a article or two about them.

How about all the Lipsey's K1a and K77RSI issues (maybe other Lipsey's Ruger issues for a 2nd article), know not historical, but might be some day, would be good to document early on. Biased, only interested in same from now on.... And come to think of it, how about another article on the Talo edition Rugers?

How about we try to get something going about how to get started or how did you get started? For me it was seeing an “alphabet” Bearcat at a gun show. I didn’t know too much about then at the time but did know that the ‘alphabet’ models were some of the early models. Paid $325.00 for the gun, a “K” model, complete with the original box, instruction manual, and sales slip. I was hooked! I then read everything I could lay my hands on concerning the Bearcat. I subscribed to RENE and that was one of the best investments I have made. The information is never-ending. My next was an OM five digit. Then I saw a “super” with the brass colored trigger guard. Now that I have that I needed a “super” with the black trigger guard. And so it goes. A NM, a NM stainless with the “Canadian” length barrel, a Shopkeeper, and now I need a new ‘sighted’ model. I am still looking for a three and four digit OM. It never ends. I know that many have collections of every model and variation of a specific type of gun, however many of us cannot afford to collect to that extent but still have fun looking for that next ‘special’ one. We too are collectors. I also am a man of limited means so I have to be very careful on what I spend to acquire my next ‘whatever’. That does not detract me from collecting, just makes me be very critical of when and where I spend my money. I am an ‘old guy’, near 78, and started late in life collecting. I have all the enthusiasm of the ‘many years’ collectors…just not the time or cash to go ‘whole hog’

Agree on the suggestion for the K1A Lipsey rifle article. I am "assured"(INFO HERE) by our Lipsey contact, that there is strong evidence for a 223 in the next K1A............Remember, there were ONLY very slightly more than 100 of the uncataloged BLUED 1A in the early 1980 time frame.

KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK! SPLITZ

On the Maximum, Mr. Maximum(Coogs) is the guy to write it!
I think the Lipsey's K series of M77 RSI and No.1's would not be too hard. Have an author in mind.(TOM)
FM, you just about wrote one up! A few more paragraphs and some pics and you have a Bearcat article. Mention what the really special one are that you are looking for.
Keep it coming, some good ideas and this is what the Digest needs!

Fox Mike, that is exactly what we are looking for as an interesting informative real life articles. I agree with Lee, add some more to it with some pics and it will make a great article for publication.

Let me know if I can be on any help to you....I like and have a few of those Cats too!

OK guys, ya got a deal. I'll start on the additional paragraphs and get the Nikon fired up. I might need help on how to get the photos to you but we can work on that later.
