Greetings,
I am looking for a cast but unmachined receiver that would have been used for the old Light Weight LWAC or LWSC revolvers of the 50's for a display. Also interested in a .357 flattop cast and unfinished receiver for a future display I've been working on putting together.
Thanks,

I know there may be one or two as cast original .357 flattop frames out there, maybe partially finished, but I have yet to hear of an original 1956-1958 period as cast Lightweight Single-Six cylinder frame.

Chet what would the frame in this picture be ? It appears to be aluminum.....I don't have any idea .....
I believe it came from Mr Don.

Probably a New Model but not sure. I got one of the New Model Lightweight Single-Six frames from him as well, and also a NM Lightweight Blackhawk as cast frame.
Not sure how different the NM frame would be from the OM maybe other than differences in production quality.
