Salt Cod box

Is it even a possibility to find a Salt Cod Box??? I have number 29 and would Love to find one? When was the last time one even surfaced??

The last one I found for sale was about 7 years ago and it cost me 1000.00. Just for your information serial number 29 was not shipped in a cod box. You have a nice gun there. Myself I own several guns serial number 28 and 29.

Yes, rare as hens teeth!
Ruger also had to make a few salt cod boxes to hold two boxed Standard pistols. None known at this time, and really doubtful if any survived.
