Do not they count the brow tines? I have heard a 8 pointer called a 4x4, but never a 3?

I grew up calling them "eye guards". I like "brow tines"!
In my family, right or wrong, we would call that one a 3 point double eye guards.
I must admit 8 point is easier to say and sounds better!!!
Regardless it's a Nice buck!!
Cheers,

Congrats to you Taryn! You are a multi talented wife with Troy. Not only do you build displays, but you know how to bring home the venison. Nice looking rifle too. Merry Christmas to both of you and your family. Brass Frame/Lee E

Great looking buck Taryn, way to go. Did Troy make you drag it out yourself?
