If you wanted to purchase a new Ruger .22 pistol in 1949 all you had to do was to fill this out and send it in along with $37.50. A couple of questions are on this form that would not be politically correct to ask now.

Those were the days! I wonder how many purchased like that are lurking in drawers or trunks waiting to be discovered 70 years later?

All Ruger needed to do was add a line of how many resides at this address and they could have contributed to the Census. ;)

Don, This piece of paperwork is really neat and shows how simple things were 71 years ago! I must look at my serial number
0040 Standard Auto paper work for this order blank? I know that I have one with the 1949 first factory catalog. Great historical Ruger paper. Brass Frame/Lee
