Just found the sight, awesome stuff here!!! My history with Ruger started in the early 70s, my stepfather, and my mom started working at the Newport facility, stepdad was a machinist, my mom was in double action assembly for 29 years. I worked in woodworking in '77/'78, but it just wasn't my cup of tea. I have a bunch of stuff given to me by my mom over the years, my prize possession being a red label o/u 20 year gift gun given to her upon her completing the 20 years of employment there. I got to choose the configuration that I wanted, and it has her name engraved on it with the rest of the 20 year stuff. I look forward to getting into the site and reading more, some really great info here. Thanks, Mike
