Brass Frame Old Model Super Blackhawk

This followed me home from the most recent gun show. (Not for sale, but the price tag from the gun show was still there when I took the photo).
The grips are marked MR 3DB and the gun was made in 1969.
Looking forward to shooting it soon. Love the blueing on these older Rugers!

Could you please post the serial number. Did you mean the wood GRIPS are marked MR3DB or did you mean the grip FRAME was so marked?

Serial # appears to be 80-03621, not in book but for that price a great deal.

The grip frame is marked MR3DB. I am assuming the brass frame was added later so I have already swapped to a steel frame I had.

Yes, your Super has become a good purchase. Good luck shooting it, you might start with .44 Special loads.
