Well.... you folks have probably seen the rumblings, but you know the Ruger company is headed for a severe downward turn when they discontinue the 10/22-RB model 1103, the mainstay of the entire 10/22 lineup and the most popular modern firearm of all time.
It isn't just about speculation now... this new guy is destroying it.

If you Google his history, its the same story. He gets hired do to the growth he created at past companies, but if you did deeper, the growth is caused by acquisitions that then do not seem to get integrated well. He makes the numbers look good and then moves onto the next corporation before his actions catch up with him. Afraid Ruger may have the same fait ahead but hope that's not the case. Lots of good people depend on employment there, would be unfortunate if cooperate greed ended their livelihoods.

Sad situation that's going on. Hopefully the Board will find a replacement CEO before its too late. If its not already too late.

I was thinking the same. The company is just a company now. When Bill was still alive, it felt like more than just another gun company. Bill was a shooter, and was a dang good judge of what shooters wanted. It started going downhill when they took the Sturm off of all the eagles!
