M77 V - 7mm-08 question

Post by b1buddy »

Can anyone tell me if they made a M77 heavy barrel in 7mm-08 back somewhere around the late 70's or early 80's?

Right now, I am concentrating on collecting all the Ruger M77 V calibers. So far, I have not been able to conclude as much as I would want to know about the V-configuration as I want from the RENE published data. I would have sworn that I have seen a red pad M77V in the past, but was told at Tulsa that almost certainly, they did not make any of that vintage.

Therefore, if there were none really made, then I have been searching for something that does not even exist!!

The Potato Farmer would know; if he is the one who told you at Tulsa, then you can quit looking and look for something else. ;)
