Went plinking with the .44-40 combo loaded with Blackhorn 209. I like that black powder substitute and adds a bit of nostalgia to plinking. Dr.C

Haven't loaded any black powder in my .44-40's yet , did some .50-70 for my Sharp's carbine and .45-70 for my trapdoors. May get around to the .44-40 soon. I have 4 vaqueros in .44-40. Have an original '73 that I've been shooting for quite a while. Coogs
