I just saw that Ruger has up for auction on GunBroker.com a new in the box Kittery Trading post 50th Anniversary model with a 241-47281 serial number and has a March20,1995 date on it. This is the highest know serial numbered gun known to date. My records indicate that this now brings the total to 106 which is up from the first run of 100 and then 4 more were made for family members at the Kittery Trading post. Then another factory auction gun was released a couple years ago and now this one with a much higher serial number. This auction is scheduled to close on 5/18/2016 at 12:30 PM ET. This would make a great addition to any 10/22 collectors collection. There have been 13 bids so far but I am sure it will sell for much more than the current $656.01 bid. Who else wants this one?

I forgot to post that the 105th Kittery Trading Post serial number is 230-76126 is.
