Re: Ruger Sign.
This collector had his heart go "pitter-patter" when I saw the picture. I too, like so many here have never seen one of those signs. And I'd LOVE to have it in my collection of memorabilia. That said,, I'd venture a wild guess that it's not a factory authorized item. I base that upon the m...

Re: ROCS Exhibit
Stunning,,, simply stunning!
Obviously the judges were picked from the local circus.
Once again,, it seems that Rugers are like Rodney Dangerfield, "They don't get no respect!"

Re: Dallas NRA
Excellent,, simply excellent. Sharing our Ruger stuff with the general public is one of the best things we can do to further the knowledge base AND uncover all kinds of goodies. Y'all put in a lot of work & such to make such a great display there. Looking forward to the OGCA show & seeing wh...

Re: Prob. w/ Blackhawk
This will require a disassembly.
The hammer has a pin installed inside it. Sometimes the pin can break, or get hung up. It is a small part,, and an even smaller spring inside the hammer to push the pin. Check to see if the pin moves freely in & out a little.

Re: Early(ish) Mark I Target questions
Dern Rick,,, you got me. I looked at the wrong chart. My info was on the Standards,, NOT the MKI targets.
My mistake. (And it's what I get for looking up something when tired.)
RPM's info is the correct info.

Jim Schafer
I got my latest ROCS Journal the other day. (Excellent as usual)!
But I was sorely saddened by the discovery that Jim Schafer had passed away. I hadn't heard of his passing. Jim was truly a gentleman & we'll miss him.
Thoughts & prayers out to his family.

Re: Working on the SA's
I forgot to add that I have since modified 92) of the grip frame screws a little. I chucked them in my lathe, and cut back the hex sides a little further. I found the screw shanks could possibly rub the trigger guard on a few of them. So I cut the hex edges back a bit & rounded them a little too.
