I picked one up about a month ago & it has very nice wood on it also. I looked it over hard for the fitting of the wood the bluing finish. I am impressed with quality! Great Job Ruger!

I grew up in Montana northwest of Great Falls shooting Varmints but, My Dad only let me have a Remington 514 22 single shot rifle which I got dang good with! It was not until I was in my mid 20's when I purchased a Ruger 220 Swift so those critters beyond the 22 long rifle range got to enjoy my fine...

I would try pushing the cylinder pin back in sometimes they work out and the little spring pin on the end of the cylinder rod does not push the small plate that pushes so it can clear the firing pin. If you look under the hammer when trying to cock it I believe you will see the safety plate catching...

I remember the Judges not really looking at Elmers Gun in 2019 at the NRA Show in Indianapolis, I felt we did not get a fair shake on it then. But Hey new Show hopefully new Judges!

I will look if I have one.
