The longer barreled Blackhawk 44 Magnum with a 7 1/2-inch or 10-inch barrel and the Blackhawk .357 Magnum with a 10-inch barrel. The BKH40 was shipped in August 1959 and the BKH30 was part of the first shipment of the this barrel length in July 1959. :)

Bill, your photos continue to amaze me with the deep, rich, Ruger blueing. That BKH-30 is of special interest wearing those ivory grips! Thanks for sharing your ole flat tops with long barrels, they are a real nice pair to draw to. Brass Frame/Lee E.

Bill-your an Artist.
Obviously your collection is top notch, but your skills with the camera much like Vince, Bill,H, Don,F and a few other Gents you continually present your Ruger pieces in an absolute professional manner. Its continually posted in publication ready-for-print quality. I feel like a young boy flipping the pages through a gun mag wishing for this and that. To put it bluntly you make me feel outright guilt with the beauty of the photos, I've added this small attachment

for some humor, paying particular attention to item #10.
 with envy.
Keep the beautiful photos coming of your amazing collection.
