Not nickel plated but it is Hard Chrome Plated. Bought it last year with the stags on it. Does not letter as such which I did not think it would. Bought it because I liked it and the workmanship is excellent, matter of fact if I knew who did it I would send them a couple of more to do. Just a handsome shooter.
