Found this gem in a case full of guns at a local gun show years ago. Traced the gunsmith to Grand Junction Colorado but no further. Seems he was a Vietnam Vet, Welcome Home, with serious depressin issues and did not want to meet anyone new. Beautiful work and the grips are perfect.

That's a fine piece to occupy a space in the safe. Any idea what kind of wood the grips are made of?

They could be English Black Walnut,
But it's just a guess.
