I finally found a Type I Ruger Corp Bit Brace with the fully knurled chuck on ebay.
I was fortunate enough to find a Type II half knurled chuck variation in excellent shape awhile back. Both braces are in excellent condition for their age, they turn 75 this year They sold for $6.75 !

Beautiful pair there Terry. Bet they were a lot more than $6.75 though! Ruger tools are a neat niche collection
Some people sit on $.05 of knowledge like it is the treasure of Egypt. I will teach anyone $.10 worth just to prove a point...
