I'm really liking your project!
You've inspired me to do a similar project in my man cave.
This past weekend I was pleasantly surprised to find several local "antique" stores have old oak cabinets like that for sale.
We just need someone to build the shelves out on top.

And my wife will be thrilled to replace all those old mahogany and cherry China cabinets I have all over my house filled with books, photos and gun paraphernalia!
