Don, Mike, Carl, Rob and others
Guys, I just want to go on record that I think Don Findley is a heck of a good guy. I know most of you probably already know that. First of all Don doesn't really know me from Adam. Other than me buying a few of his books and a few PMs, we are complete strangers. I expressed interest in obtaining one of his books that is out of print. He didn't have it, so I placed an add in the classifieds. Low and behold he found one of the books left and is sending it to me free! Only in the gun community do you have class acts like Don. Over the years I have had similar things happen to me from "gun guys", and I have tried my best to do the same when I could. If only the rest of the world could be as gracious and helpful as most all of the guys I have known over the years in the shooting world, what a wonderful world it would be, indeed. Mike Splittgerber is another fella that helped me out a lot years ago in the wonderful world of Ruger, as did Carl, God rest his soul, from .com. I remember once on the old sixgunner forum Rob Leahy, of Simply Rugged, offering to help me make my own holster! Class acts, one and all! Just wanted to thank all of you, and all the other folks that have done similar acts of kindness over the years.

By the way, I wasn't quite sure where the proper place to post this would be, as we do not have a general discussion area.

Don Findley is a class act and I consider myself very lucky to call him a friend. We have never met in person but have spoken on the phone several times as well as exchanged emails for years.
Rob Leahy is another fine gentleman. His holsters are the best out there in my humble opinion. He has taken the time to discuss what I have wanted and exceeded my expectations.
The other 2 gentlemen I have never dealt with but for the most part anyone associated with the ROCS is above and beyond a great person and friend. I consider myself very fortunate to know so many fine people. The camaraderie here is amazing. No question is looked down on and people go out of their way to help you.
I have become great friends with SPAS15 from England through the ROCS and several members here have helped me to send him some things that he would not be able to aquire otherwise. Simon wanted a couple of brass bore gauges and the company would not send them to him in England. I picked them up and sent them along with a couple of other small items to fill the package. Since that time we have spoken on the phone many times and exchanged packages. When my wife was sick he even sent get well cards. He also got us addicted to PG Tips tea!
I can't make it to the Ohio show this year but am looking forward to seeing everyone the next time I am able to attend a ROCS event.

Some people sit on $.05 of knowledge like it is the treasure of Egypt. I will teach anyone $.10 worth just to prove a point...
