I knew him. He was a Red Eagle News Exchange member back in the day, from Massachusetts.
In the mid-1980's while at the Monroeville, PA Ruger collector theme show I was busying myself with seeing what good Rugers might be laying on the tables and came across Gerald's table (didn't know it was him at the time) who had two Lightweight Single-Sixes on his table, one black wreath and one green wreath. In the blackwreath box was an absolutely new unfired Tri-Color #204949 without chips on the cylinder, the first large button gun I had ever heard of without cylinder chips... didn't look like that thing had even been turned! And in the green wreath box was a 210xxx range LWSC that was decent shape. Bought both for a song, and as no sooner had I said I'd take them, John Debruque walked up behind me.

Unfortunately, years later the box turned up on ebay or with another collector, so that unfired Tri-Color got separated from its box.
