Rare finds while accumulating Story #1

When the annual Ruger show migrated to sunny Harrisburg(not), I really started getting into hunting for Ruger stuff. We all had our trade tables and displays set up early so I thought I would surf the tables to see if I could get any gems before the others…. Well, one show I lucked out, scrounged thru a box of misc grips and found a pair of Sbh black eagles. Turned them over and guess what I saw - a letter C! Got the $30 out of my pocket as fast as I could! Now I have dig thru my photos to see if I can find a pic. No, sadly they went to a fellow collector that wanted them more than i(didn’t have a long frame at the time).

I found only I side once in a pile of parts and it also had a "C" stamp.....
I dug for an hour and could not find the match....
