50th Ann. FT 44, Engraved and Inlaid with Gold

Post by Doc4429 »

The NM FT 44 shown below was engraved and inlaid with gold in 2006 by Ruger's Master Engraver, Paul Lantuch. It is fitted with elephant ivory grips by Nutmeg Sports. :)

That is beautiful; it is as close to an English scroll as I have ever seen Paul Lantuch do. This man is an artist beyond compare.
Some of the Rugers he did for WBR have incredible intricacy. Myself, I am a fan of the English scroll as A. A. White does, but I definitely appreciate Lantuch's work!

One of the best looking Single Action revolvers I've ever seen, no mater what brand.
