I started down a dangerous Rabbit Hole earlier this year and I need to get back out of it before it consumes me. I'm hoping someone else wants to go down it or already has and needs this for their collection.
Ruger letter showing it as an RLS-1226 which was the designation for the Orvis run of All Blue shotguns. The gentleman I purchased this from was the original owner and it was presented as a 16th birthday present back in the day. He advised that he had hunted with it but there are no condition issues at all. He advised he babied it when he had it in the field. Comes with the factory original 5 choke tubes and he had added a couple extra somewhere along the way. No box but the manual and choke tube wrench are present. Will ship in a period shotgun hard case that was given to the original owner with the shotgun.
$2850 Shipped. As always, a posted "I'll take it" has priority over a PM message for time stamp. No electronic payments but a personal check is accepted for but may delay shipping. I can bring it to Tulsa for anyone wanting to save the shipping costs.

Re: Orvis 12 gauge Red Label
That's a very rare Ruger Red Label. Somebody better jump on it, very fair price.

Does that one have any extra "ORVIS" markings?

Re: Orvis 12 gauge Red Label
Nothing that I have seen on it. It also has the Ruger logo on the pin in the forearm. I've seen a few that had a quail instead. The Ruger letter shows it was shipped to Jerry's Sports Center in PA.

Hey Chad,
How many serial numbers are you up to on these 12-gauge units?
