LINDA in Ruger records
Talked to Linda the letter lady in Ruger records today, she told me the was asked to leave the company and at the end of this month she is done. I expressed my thanks and gratitude to her for all the help she has been to me and other collectors. She said she enjoyed her job, helping people and was not happy it was ending.

That’s a shame! I enjoyed corresponding with here a few times and even talked to her once. She sure would go out of her way to help all of us. Hate to hear of her leaving especially when she still wants be doing her job there.
She will be missed.
I’ve been putting off LOAs for a while, I better get some loa requests sent off quick just in case.

I just mailed off a check for 6 more yesterday. Now I'm wishing I had filled out another page.

That’s probably not going to be too good. Linda had been employed there from at least 1972. A lot of knowledge is leaving with her. I sure hope she has had the opportunity to train her replacement. I hope we can continue to get the letters.
Re: LINDA in Ruger records
Just sent off for 2 letters yesterday. I hope they make it. I feel bad for Linda- she was an asset to Ruger. Heck- Charge more per letter, and keep Linda there. I know most of it is computerized, but there’s a couple of times that Linda has researched the “archives” and found stuff that wasn’t in the computer. That personal touch and commitment is priceless.

I asked Taryn to pick up a "Retirement" card which I plan to send to the records address Attn: Linda Deprofio with a check made out to her to celebrate her retirement and show her how thankful I am regarding her service at Ruger to all of us crazy Ruger hoarders.
