A Christmas Miracle
Well a few years ago we moved to our new barndo....after 43 years in a tiny house with boxes of stuff we hauled several dump trailers to the local landfill.......in that process my Ruger. Corp tools became missing..... In the three years since I came to accept the fact that they might be living in the landfill......I have had many sleepless nights thinking about them as I had most of them......so today while rummaging through some boxes in the attic looking for some other treasure but what do I see but the black knob on an Artisan brace sticking out under some other Ruger goodies

I immediately went and bought a mega millions ticket.....

Congrats! Best feeling in the world!
My 36 year old daughter was just going thru boxes in our basement tonight with her two year old daughter. They came across a box filled with all her old dolls from her childhood. Was better than Christmas morning for both of them.

Glad you found them! It would have been a shame if you had accidentally thrown them out!

Hey Radical, I contributed to that same landfill when we moved last summer! The only items I missed were "My Story", a book that I wrote about growing up on our 5th generation farm and my trip to Tanzania, Africa 2 1/2 years ago. Those two books must have been left in the many banana boxes that were recycled after our move? Luckily my two daughters were able to have both books reprinted and I now have them in my library! All other items have been found. Brass Frame/Lee

Re: A Christmas Miracle
Rod,, it's great to see that those tools had not been thrown away by accident. I know that had to bother you. But it had to be wonderful to have such a Christmas Miracle like that.
Love the picture of the group of tools!
