I currently noticed that the thread on the back of one of my Pistols and Revolvers Patches has green tread. The one on the left is like all others that I've seen, the one on the right is the odd one. Anyone else seen this before?

Re: Pistols and Revolvers Patches
It looks like the color of the thread used on the old RCA field rep and officers patches I have seen. If that green one bothers you please send me the price and I may be able to help you get rid of it!

Re: Pistols and Revolvers Patches
Bennett,
I will have to check mine.
When you enlarge the front of the two side by side there are a few differences also, the eye, neck feathers, thickness
of the lettering etc. IMO

Re: Pistols and Revolvers Patches
Bill, I like a little verity in my life so think I'll hang onto it, but I appreciate the offer to take care of it for me.
Terry, I see the differences you mentioned and noticed the same suttle differences between my other Patches also.
I've attached a pic of an invoice for 800 of them ordered in 1954, as far as I know that was the only ones Ruger had made but with Ruger - you never know.

I'm going to have to look at mine as well!
BTW; Where did you get a copy of that invoice?

Re: Pistols and Revolvers Patches
Tyrone, the invoice came from Hank Green's "Standard Issue Ruger Patches" book.
