Saddleworth silver smith

Post by david knutson »

Has any one heard of a company named saddle worth silver smiths? They were out of Wisconsin they’ve made belt buckles and a lot of pistol grips for Colts in different pistols. I’ve been trying to find somebody to make me some silver grips. Thank you David Knutson.

Found them on Yelp. Doesn't look like they have a website.

Yeah, I tried those phone numbers on yelp a few different times doesn’t seem to be a working number. I thought maybe somebody lived around there knew if they moved to a different location. I know they did a lot of belt, buckles and pistol grips and stuff like that. I’d sure like to be able to get a hold of them.

Years ago, I used to stop in Columbus Montana at the Montana Silver Smith factory outlet. I even ended up with a Ruger Money clip on the factory seconds table. They would do custom stuff, but I believe they were bought out by some larger business that has several stores or silversmiths and most of their stuff is just junk. A lot of it’s made overseas now they want to do business with companies like Roper and Wrangler and some of those names where they can just mask produce crap 25 years ago, I bought a beautiful set of lamps in there, but that type of thing is just nonexistent anymore. It’s really sad because it was a nice place.
