Very nice!!
Some people sit on $.05 of knowledge like it is the treasure of Egypt. I will teach anyone $.10 worth just to prove a point...

Beautiful! They can still be found in the wild.
Just as long as they don’t ALL end up in Washington or Fargo. Some kind of sucking sound in those two places.

Very nice Type 2 that falls right in the middle of only 450 made, making it one of the rare ones! Chad said that it is the second rarest Red Eagle behind the type 4 that really sucks trying to find a few. Congratulations on a real rare find!
I agree with the comment about not having all of them end up in Washington with the Dawg, but isn't it a bit harsh to include the beautiful city of Fargo, ND in this diatribe on steroidial buying habits. While I admit that I could demonstrate more restraint when it comes to the Red Eagle's, nothing compares to the Dawg's predatory style, well maybe the Radical one in his prime I hear! Wait till I retire, again, and have more time on my hands!
I think I mirror Radical Rod's thoughts on paying too much for some, I just bought most of them too early, or something like that. Bill

My wife says I am a LEGEND in my own mind
I chased RUGERS really hard until I was unceremoniously kicked off the RUGER FORUM for basically the new owner didn't like me.....but the feeling was mutual....I am not sure he even owns a collectible RUGER
This just happened to give me more time to chase COLTS unfortunately
Now I am just a small fish in the COLT ocean......
But never fear my blood is still RUGER RED.....

Bill, since you are not too far from the twin cities, we’ll have to meet up one day and discuss the predator from the northwest. Meanwhile, I’ll keep trying to sneak a few past you two.
I remember Jay Leno saying that about his car collection. “I didn’t pay too much, I just bought some too early”. Here I just try to make sure my grandkids won’t think I was crazy when they go to unload my collection one day.

I think I'm getting a bum rap here!!!
I like to think of myself as focused, not as a predator
And I here the head count of Red Eagles in Fargo, dwarfs my meager little T1 flat gate collection............
By the way, have you guys seen this??

I agree, there are alot of red eagles in Washington state. I've collected them since the early 1980s. That where the Ruger collecting started with me.
