NRA Silver Medal Award

Post by ElNumeroUno »

The 1st Ruger to ever be awarded a Silver Medal at the NRA Convention Collector exhibits was the in 1982. It was the Millionth Auto, serial#1000000. I know several other Rugers have been awarded this prestigious Medal since that date, but I am not sure which ones and what years. A couple that come to mind are the engraved 357 Blackhawk #100 and the 15" barrel 44 Flattop. Anyone have the list or know of others??

I was in Denver for the NRA meetings when that pistol was introduced. I picked up these flyers and managed to get Mr. Ruger to sign them.
