non prefix extra numbers

anyone tell me what these extra numbers indicate

I believe they are someone's SS number, they definetly are not any Factory ID numbers :D

numbers are K-140-135-680-156, I assume it is possible for it to be someone's ID code but don't think that they are a SSN as those are xxx-xx-xxxx. Anyhow, thanks for the speculation. I hope others members may also offer their thoughts...

I may venture a guess as to them being evidence numbers in a criminal case. It was either stolen or used in a crime.
Some people sit on $.05 of knowledge like it is the treasure of Egypt. I will teach anyone $.10 worth just to prove a point...

I think your on the right track as they fit the sequence of a drivers license number

After reviewing the numbers again I believe that they are a personal ID number of some kind. I think they could be removed & touched up to restore the rifle to nearer original factory condition. A shame it was done but not everyone looks at all firearms as collectible. :D
