I seriously doubt if this 17 HMR No.1 RSI were Factory that it would be at your LGS. No Factory rimfire No.1 rifles have been sold. There are Prototypes; all still at Newport.

check to see if the factory barrel was relined to 17 cal,,might explain the roll mark
