Well, I have divested myself of all my auto pistols except for this one. I have had it for a number of years and am especially fond of it.

Looks like a good one! Can't go wrong with a MKII Ruger .22 Pistol.
Some people sit on $.05 of knowledge like it is the treasure of Egypt. I will teach anyone $.10 worth just to prove a point...

A MK2 was my first pistol many, many moons ago, and I have never been without one. No offense to anybody here, but I would rather have the MK2 than any of the other MK series pistols.

I will agree with Gunman42782 that the Ruger Mark 2 is the best of the series. I had a couple of 1st model Ruger Pistols which were good pieces. A Ruger RST6 that grew feet & a 1970 vintage T512 that I sold to purchase something for the family. I now have a KMK4 & KMK6 which are great pistols. Those will never go anywhere....
