Glad to hear they got it all. Now lets hope it doesn't come back. I agree with you 'WE WILL NOT LET IT BEAT US"!

Got an email from Carl, says they got everything, just will go on monitoring by PSA blood tests probably every 3 months. Says he feels better than he has since last winter. Prayers still going out to him and Bill for complete recoveries and quick rehab for Bill for a smooth working hip.

Another update... Saw the Oncologist today and he wants to do 6 rounds of Chemo on me to make sure any stray cells are taken care of. That will be every 3 weeks for 18 weeks. Also wants to do Hormone therapy twice a year to slow it down if it wants to grow....

That's the right attitude Carl and I truly believe it is half the battle!! Hang in there my friend.
I am progressing each day and hope to leave the rehab facility by Friday. Then PT for sometime after that but feeling better each day. Can't wait to get home!!

I watched my Papaw go through chemo. I'm proud to say that he has been cancer free for 3 years but the chemo was a very rough time for him. He always loved to cook and eat but couldn't stomach much food even when he wanted it. Keep up the high spirits and never stop fighting. It can be beaten and I'm praying for a clean bill of health and a full recovery for you both.

The start date is changed to the 7th of September. My warped sense of humor is still intact so I am ok. If you can laugh at something it can not hurt you. Thanks for all the good wishes

I'm glad to hear you are both doing well. I'm sure Flattop44 asked for the box and shipping sleeve his parts came in. Stay well, both of you. All the best from the West Coast. JussBad - Gary

Just wanted to add a short note to keep them prayers coming!!!!!
Our friend and brother ROCS member (WATERTENDER) is fighting through a chemo regiment and has two treatments remaining. His current regimen has him finished in the next 30 days and god willing he will be cleared.
