Lipseys has done 3, it is time they did a K1S 30/30.

I think that an S weight barrel even at 20" would be a fairly heavy gun. Short barrel S weight usually adds up to a large bore like the 44 is...maybe instead of the 30-30 it could be a 375 win ....

Yes would be heavy in 30 cal, someone else on Ruger forum suggested 358 Win or 35 Rem. I could live with either, 375 would be nice too. Whatever, we need a K1S 20 inch rifle.

.30-30 is probably the best all around deer cartridge used where I hunt!

Well they do 30 cals in S with longer barrels. 30-30 is my wish K1S 20 inch! Are you watching Lipseys?

I already have the 1A in 30-30 and it is what I use for whitetails on the back 20, but I could go for a stainless 1S in a larger bore maybe a 38-55 as long as the furniture is walnut, not laminate!
