Thanks, Bill. I'm trying to learn to better photograph guns. The white backdrop seems to be best but the flash washed out the engraving completely. It is a bit dark in the room. I think no flash and bright background lighting works best. Mostly, I use my cell phone due to the convenience but I probably need to get out the Nikon D90 and tripod for some real work. The problem with that Nikon is that it is smarter than me.
