Hi guys. I'm njw to the sight and looking forward to the experience. Checking in from N. Idaho.
I have a sweet snubbie Security Six LOW BACK with a #150 prefix, and I need some grips for it.
I can't seem to find any. I've got several other nice sets from the newer configurations I could trade
for a nice set of LOW BACKS, or if you've got a nice set for sale, please let me know along with
price.
Thanks so much,
Fred

Welcome Pastor Fred, you'll be glad you joined, there's some great and very knowledgeable guys here. You are right about the difficulty in finding the low back grips for the early models, to my knowledge no one reproduces them. I'm making a set out of black walnut for my brother's revolver as a birthday gift. I did just luck up and run across a set in good condition for a steal, haven't received them yet. Not sure I want to sell them but I believe there's a set on eBay now in really good shape except a chip on one of them. They want $70 dollars for them.
Any day without learning is a day of backing up.

Howdy Pastor Fred! Ron In PA is our resident Ruger Six guru... He is the man that would have the grips you need or know where to get them from. Hey a preacher might gentrify us some... Welcome friend! Ruger is spoken fluently here
Some people sit on $.05 of knowledge like it is the treasure of Egypt. I will teach anyone $.10 worth just to prove a point...
