A number of years ago Hodgdon powder published a reloading guide with an engraved Ruger Bisley on the front cover. As I recall it was stainless, with a fine gold line around the muzzle. I thought it was the most tastefully engraved and attractive revolver I had ever seen, not too gaudy, just right. I have only seen one of these for sale and it was in .357, I wanted a .45 or even .44 if available. In retrospect I wish I had bought it.
Now for the big question, does anyone know what model it was and does anyone have a picture of it? Don't suppose anyone knows where there might be one?
Thanks in advance.

If you still have the picture, you might contact Baron Technology. They are the factory authorized engraving company and they could certainly duplicate the pattern on your gun. Check them out on the web: www.barontechnology.com or

Someone on another forum found the manual:

I think the fine line of gold at the muzzle compliments the modest engraving very nicely. When I saw the manual, I went to gunbroker and found one. Thinking that it was common I waited to find a 45 rather than the 357. That was the last one I have seen. Fate stared me in the face and I walked away.
