The herd continues to grow! I am running out of safe space! RUGER doesn't care they just keep making more, and more!! Here is the latest (I think).

Ruger Special Edition SR1911 made for the NRA, model 6746. It's the full size model with a matted black slide engraved with the 2nd Amendment, and NRA logo. The frame has been coated red with red laminated grip panels with the NRA logo. I do not know what process was used at this time.

My herd is getting some color I now have a GREEN, BLACK, GOLD, and 2 different RED ones. Stay tuned there is a Purple one yet to come. By the way these are all .45acp.

Saw that SR1911 at the last FoNRA banquet and was tempted but it went way too high for my budget (but that was good for that chapter of the FoNRA).

Ron, I do appreciate your offer, but I don't believe they could withstand your cold damp climate. They could catch cold and rust or something. I think they like our 100 degree weather, even if I have to stick a few of them in a closet.
