Can you provide a list of the old Vaqueros that were offered? Just cartridge and finish would be enough.

I believe that there were four of the first in
44/40, 45 lc & 45 acp, 44 mag., 357/ 9 in
Barrel lengths 4/58, 5.5, & 6.5 in case color harden and as, with a few nickel plate.
The special orders were 32 mag 32/20,
38/40 40 Cal, 40 Cal San Diego police, and overrun of 130 or so with out police markings.all special orders were as, and nickel as far as I know and I do know 38/40 was a Davidson sporting goods gun don't know about others. fyi. hope this helps.
I haven't even mentioned bisleys.

To Roc Doc
I have to restate my last post I was incorrect on my information Ruger offered just four calibers in the big frame
357, 44 mag . 44/40, & 45 lc, barrel length,
4-5/8, 5.5 & 7.5, in stainless and blue cc.
Those were the normal ones.
Special order were 40 Cal , 38/40- 40 , and 32 mag - 32/20 in 4-5/8, 5.5 & 7.5 stainless,
I believe that the was available in blue cc.
And there were a group of 3-1/2 " barrels called sheriff's special in 45, 44 , don't know if there were any more or not, plus a few other special order were made.
Bisly vaqueros were offered in a big frame as well. Any more information please feel free to email hope it helps. Chuck.
