ROCS TULSA AUCTION

Post by flattop44 »

Ruger donated 10 very unique and special guns for our Tulsa Auction. Most are true "One-Of-A-Kind" and never produced mi. See the description for each gun below. Sorry about the pics, not the best and some are missing. The first four rifles on the list will be Silent Auctioned on the ROCS table at the show. Silent auction will end at 3 pm Tulsa time Sunday Nov 12th. The other six will be live auctioned Saturday night at the Awards dinner. If you want to bid on any of them send me an email with your name and phone number to rocs@att.net and I can put your bid in.

Bill, this is truly an amazing list of guns that Ruger is offering to ROCS! I sure hope fellow ROCS members add their bids to one of these fine firearms that will certainly become a collectable. Brass Frame/Lee E

The 10/22 model #1265 is actually still offered on Ruger's website as a TALO exclusive. The only thing I haven't done yet is see how early that one falls from the earliest production. Regular production also has a walnut stock that is checkered and a red buttpad. I verified the auction gun isn't the same example pictured on Ruger's website.
The SP101 model 5775 was a special distributor model for Davidson's. I suspect the auction gun is a super early example... perhaps prototype/concept gun.
The Ruger 57 with shimmer gold anodized receiver, magazine bottom and other components is now offered by TALO as model 16416. Interesting that the auction gun letters on Ruger's sn lookup page as model 16499. The auction gun is probably the concept gun for the model as it is 644-02687. The example pictured at the Lipsey's website (a file photo from Ruger probably) is 644-06035.
Some good stuff in these auctions!!
