1969 coffee cup and ashtray

Post by rpm enterprises »

1969 Ruger did coffee cup and later did an ashtray. Actually there are two variations. Evidently some did not get the red color added to them during production. From what I was told the company who made them put them in employees break area to be used because they were not sellable. To my knowledge only one ashtray is known and I know of about 3 coffee cups that are missing red color.

Did Ruger do both the ashtray and mug in 1969. I have the very long list of known memorabilia and it says large ashtray (4000) in 1968 and coffee mug (250) in 1969.
Thanks Kenny

The things that show up here are amazing!
Some people sit on $.05 of knowledge like it is the treasure of Egypt. I will teach anyone $.10 worth just to prove a point...
