I know of a couple of serious ones and many of us like and own some early ones. Lots of us hunt with both early and later ones. If you have questions and/or pictures we welcome you to post away!!

Nick,
There are several Ruger fans of the early M77's. Old Ruger Man is on here pretty often and quite knowledgeable. The expert(the Potato Farmer) doesn't do computers much, but we can get to him. Do you have a question? or just a general(or serious) interest?

Thanks Guys, I have a small collection of Mod 77ens. It seams as though most people like the number ones. You don't see many 77ens at the gun shows any more for some reason.

Nick,
Do have a copy of the M77 Rifle book by Ronnie Burke? That is the only publication on early M77's. If you haven't found one, let me know. At one time, I had a few extras.
