Twist rate in rifle for handgun calibers.

Post by Ruger1nut »

Does anyone know what the appropriate twist rates would be for a handgun caliber in a rifle with 22" or so barrel?

Thinking like for 357, 41mag, 44mag, 45 colt 480 Ruger etc

Its 1:20" for the M77 .44 Mag. I believe they have a 18.5" barrel.

I just know they are a slow twist, as flattop44 notes.
