Wish Ruger would make......

Post by RocDoc »

Wish Ruger would produce a K1RSI, to me, this would be the best of anything Ruger ever/will make. Cataloged or distributor exclusive, either way. I hope this happens some day. Any interest in same?
Too bad the 'old' Vaquero went away, maybe we will see another clean-up some time, but I suppose all the parts were gone with the previous clean-up.

I would not be surprised for Lipsey's to bring out one some year. Ruger has put together at least one, or two, in 303 British. None shipped.
Just what would your caliber recommendation be for a K1RSI?

I'd like to see the first K1RSI in 30-06. My favorite cal. 7x57 would also be nice. No matter the cal, I'll get one if they show up someday.

I would buy a 1-S chambered in .348 Winchester, or better yet a K1-A. ;) Failing that, a KRSI in 35 Whelen would be good too!

I have understood that 35 cal not possible in RSI due to barrel profile? Is this true? I also would not turn down a 35 Whelen in a K1RSI. As long as I'm wishing on this thread, how about a K1RSI in 338-06?

I appreciate your efforts about a KS #1, but come on, a Number 1 MUST be a blue gun! JMHO, but a #1 IS meant to be BLUE, the stainless thing, as well as a synthetic stock, if it be a #1 or a model 77 just don't make it with me, sorry, once again, JMHO, God Bless, Coogs,

Oh no, you know there is a sub culture of those out here who think the most proper #1 is SS in walnut, although most of us also dip into the blue walnut pond as well. I like them all as long as they are not B or V versions.

I vote for 7mm-08. Should be a dandy.

I don't care which version, as long as it is a No. 1.

I understand that the next Lipsey's Exclusive K1A is supposed to be a 7mm-08; hope so!

WOW! I'd spring for a couple of those to add to the "set". :D
