Re: Mkiii mag identification please
The one on the left is a 22/45 magazine (sometimes called 22/45 MKII). The one on the right is a MKIII magazine.

Re: Two tone bicentennial?
If I get a chance I'll check it out on Saturday. Was going to look at it last Saturday but I lost interest. There are scuff marks on the barrel and receiver like someone had changed the barrel, or tried.
Maybe Monday. I have a transfer that should be there then.

Re: nice day for a pic
The Sporter second from the right, sans all the extra "stuff", I consider to be the best looking 22 auto rifle of all time. Even with the somewhat chunky stock it is just elegant.

Re: Lever Action 357 and 44 Mag
Been sniffing around for a Rossi stainless 92 carbine. I like shiny easy to care for guns. Lots of .44 and .45 rifles but hard to find in a 357 carbine (that I can afford). I know they're not Ruger quality but there are fixes available and they look so old timey COOL.

Re: Ruger carbine
I have one of each with the ghost ring sights. The PC9 is fun to shoot if you can stand the "military" trigger. Not quite as much fun as my M1 carbine but cheaper ammo. I haven't shot the PC4 and probably never will. Not a .40 fan. Several years ago a LGS got 175-200 of them as LE trade in...

Re: What is your favorite Ruger to shoot?
I enjoy shooting all my Ruger .22s. However, right now, my favorite would have to be my stainless .357 Black Hawk with the 4.62" barrel. Great balance and easy to shoot for someone like me with small hands.

Great Eight Scope Base
I have both an MK8 and a P8GC. Neither were new when I purchased them and neither included a scope base. My question is did either ship with a base and maybe rings? If so, which base; the Ruger base for Ruger rings or the Weaver style base. Both boxes have the short cut out to accommodate the Ruger ...

22/45 Manual
Anyone know if Ruger ever produced a 22/45 only manual? I thought I saw a picture of one some time ago.
Re: 28 GA Box
I have no use for the chokes. Will probably list as a combo when I sell. Just trying to get some clue as to what to sell it for. Need to decide on auction or forum ad.
Re: 28 GA Box
Okay, I found a box to ship the box in. I guess I'll put it up for auction. Anyone have any idea what it might be worth?
