Re: 50th Anniversary Hawkeye
Its beautiful but I was hoping for something more than embellished scroll work and gold. I would have enjoyed a retro year of the flat-bolt grip and maybe the original straight wood stalk without the cutout for the ejection port area. Realizing the new three point safety could never been modified back to the old model it would be be the icing. After all its been Rugers bolt action rifle for 50 years.

Well, look at the flat bolt 50th Anniversary rifle Terry Wolosek talked Ruger into putting together on Classicsporting arms.com. Limited to 77 pieces.

Lee had one on display Nov 24 at a show when I was doing some other business with him in Dallas, it is super nice, handle it with white gloves and store it under glass.CottonBayou wrote: ↑Wed Dec 05, 2018 5:56 pm Well, look at the flat bolt 50th Anniversary rifle Terry Wolosek talked Ruger into putting together on Classicsporting arms.com.
