Antelope Season 2018
Antelope Season 2018
I have been fortunate enough to shoot some record book Pronghorn Antelope and many really notable Pronghorns in my life but the one that happened by this year takes the cake. Trailing a doe through 2.5' tall Bluestem this thing looked like a Pronghorn with a front end loader on his head. The horns are 18" long and a more impressive looking Antelope I've never seen. Shot with an old Ruger 77 ST in .257 Roberts at better than 300 yards, one shot through the heart with a hand loaded 85 gr. Barnes TTSX.

Those are really tasty critters.

Seems like every year you get a better antelope than last year. You might not be able to top this one.

Beautiful animal and congratulations on a successful hunt. Looks tasty! May I ask where you hunt?
