Best Modern Handgun Display
Re: Best Modern Handgun Display
Thanks for your observations and kind comments!
SN 35519 was originally shipped to Gopher Shooters in Faribault, Mn as part of Group five and was one of four total that they received. Gopher Shooters had three Factory low Subscription Program numbers, SN 40 for certain and two others which other ROCS members may be aware of. When Mike Reber took this gun in trade, I went on a mission to bring it back to Minnesota. Was very gratifying to be recognized with a First Place for Modern handguns and did so in competition with some serious Colt and Smith and Wesson displays, al of which were large multi-gun multi-table setups......

Bill, I understand. I'd be miles ahead, and have more "stuff", if I would have concentrated on Rugers back in 1955-1963, instead of running the wheels off of cars, drinking bad whiskey, and chasing what always seemed to turn out to be imaginary love affairs.ElNumeroUno wrote:Now that is pretty impressive! Way to go Mike! Look at the bark on those stags on the Agee RSS. Old stag winds my crank like a pretty gal did when I was much, much younger.
