Rich Machniak passed.
Rich Machniak passed.
More info over on the Ruger.com site. He was a great guy, always gave loads of encouragement to the new guys, including me, one of the "old guys"
Re: Rich Machniak passed.
Yes he was a great old friend. We had some fun times over the years setting up together at the Louisville and Tulsa shows. He is sure missed.

Rich mentored me in several areas of Ruger collecting and was always willing to answer a question. RIP,

Most of us who have collected Rugers knew Rich on a personal level. Visits with Rich turned up remarkable treasurers for me!
He started me on my search for serial #40 Old Model Rugers. He also taught me much about condition of collectible Rugers and other guns. RIP Rich. Brass Frame/Lee E

I always enjoyed talking with Rich at Tulsa. We discussed both Rugers and S&Ws as he was very knowledgeable about both. He will be missed.

Sorry to hear of Rich's passing. I visited him many years ago when he was living in Holland, Mi. And of course we talked about Rugers during my visit, great memories! RIP my friend.
