I just picked up a couple of 8" Ruger plates, they are clear and haven't seen any like them. I figure they were made in the 80's, does anyone have one of these or know anything about their history?
Thanks, Bennett

Re: Ruger Plate
Bennett,
I just checked my memorabilia list of 80's items but found nothing on plates.
A while back there was a single plate like yours on ebay only it was white pottery I emailed the owner and ask for a picture of the back, he sent it and it was plain nothing on it.
I then ask him if the logo on the front was a decal and he replied yes. So I passed on it and presumed that someone had some clean white pottery and added the decal.
Like rugerguy always say's never say never with Ruger!

Re: Ruger Plate
Terry, the ones I have do appear to have a raised area that possibly be a decal. If it is it's well done, goes good with some of my other dishware.
